Paralegal

What you'll do...

We are seeking a highly organized paralegal to support case management, evaluate legal requests, and coordinate with attorneys, outside partners, and internal teams.

This temporary role requires an onsite presence at our Practice Support Center in Southfield, MI (5 days/week) with the potential to transition to full-time.

Duties and Responsibilities...

  • Act as the initial point of contact for tracking, monitoring, and responding to case requests.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, insurance, claims, providers, regional personnel, and internal departments.
  • Collect and prepare data to support case management and data entry.
  • Prepare and review contracts, pleadings, and correspondence for approval.
  • Communicate decisions or updates on behalf of leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records, electronic files, and correspondence.
  • Monitor and download new case submissions from portals or agency sites.
  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and leadership as needed.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters.

  • Problem-solving skills with ability to propose and implement solutions.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical ability.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (legal/paralegal experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional discretion.
