Marketing Specialist

What you'll do...

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and digitally savvy Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys balancing digital marketing execution, project management, local office support, and marketing operations within a fast-paced, multi-location organization.

The Marketing Specialist will support the execution of marketing initiatives across GEDC's network of dental offices, helping drive patient engagement, brand consistency, and local marketing success. This role will work closely with practice managers, operations teams, vendors, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day marketing needs.

This position is designed as an intermediate-level role that bridges hands-on coordination responsibilities with more advanced digital marketing, campaign management, and operational support functions.

This position is located at our corporate office in Southfield, MI and has a hybrid schedule of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in office and Wednesday/Friday remote.

What you'll bring to the team...

Digital Marketing & Campaign Support

  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing initiatives across email, SMS, social media, SEO, paid search, and local marketing channels
  • Support deployment and tracking of marketing campaigns through platforms such as HubSpot and other marketing tools
  • Help monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization and growth
  • Assist with reputation management efforts, local SEO initiatives, and patient engagement strategies

Local Marketing & Office Support

  • Support development and execution of local marketing initiatives tailored to individual office and regional needs
  • Collaborate with practice managers and regional leadership to understand marketing goals and provide marketing support
  • Coordinate marketing requests and materials for offices across the GEDC footprint
  • Periodically visit office locations to better understand operational and patient experience needs

Marketing Operations & Project Management

  • Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, vendor communication, and campaign execution
  • Assist with inventory management, print collateral coordination, and operational marketing needs
  • Maintain marketing calendars, campaign tracking, databases, and workflow organization

Content Creation & Brand Management

  • Create content for marketing materials including flyers, brochures, email templates, and internal communications
  • Work with creative vendors to guide design execution for all marketing materials
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with GEDC brand standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist with basic website updates and digital content management

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work cross-functionally with operations teams, vendors, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to support marketing initiatives
  • Effectively communicate project updates, campaign performance, and marketing initiatives to leadership and office teams
  • Stay informed on industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging marketing technologies

What we require you have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience with exposure to digital marketing, campaign execution, and project management
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, franchises, or healthcare organizations preferred
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels including email/SMS marketing, social media, local SEO, and paid advertising
  • Experience using marketing platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, Birdeye, or similar systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications...

  • Experience in healthcare, dental, DSO, or multi-location organizations
  • Familiarity with patient acquisition and retention marketing strategies
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors or agency partners
  • Knowledge of reputation management platforms and multi-location marketing operations
