The Treatment Coordinator serves as a key member in the patient experience and flow. This position is responsible for explaining and ensuring the patient understands what treatment they need, the importance of the treatment to their overall health and the financial options to deploy in order to commit to the needed care.

The Treatment Coordinator serves as a key member in the patient experience and flow. This position is responsible for explaining and ensuring the patient understands what treatment they need, the importance of the treatment to their overall health and the financial options to deploy in order to commit to the needed care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicates recommended treatment plan to the patient and promotes good qualities of your doctor
- Listens to individual patients concerns and assists the patient through by applying judgment and practical solutions
- Provides feedback to patients regarding specific tactics that change financial and patient care outcomes
- Works to obtain commitment to financial arrangement protocols from patients
- Guides patients through proper office flow to assist in arranging appointments for follow up treatment
- Maintains strict compliance with Federal, State and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPPA, ADA, DOL, Company policies & procedures)
- Other tasks as requested by direct Manager
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED with 4 or more years' experience in a dental office environment
- Familiarity with dental terminology to clarify to patient's treatment options
- Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Sales or other related degree
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office and Healthcare Practice Management systems
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts to practical situations
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common insurance plans and financial information
- Proven track record of developing highly productive working relationships
- Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast past environment
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Superior patient experience skills and successful track record of positive patient communications
- Ability to create and maintain good communications with the patient in order to explain and gain patient treatment planning understanding and acceptance
